‘Monumental’, ‘beautiful’, a ‘national treasure’, the ‘largest sculpture park in the world’, a ‘legendary role in the history of international sculpture’ – these are just a few of the accolades for a collection of 16 remarkable sculptures of marble and concrete placed 50 years ago along the highways of Vermont.
Our Exciting Project
With generous support from the federal ‘Save America’s Treasures’ program and the Vermont Agency of Transportation, work began as soon as the weather allowed in the spring of 2024 to restore and preserve ‘Sculpture on the Highway’ for another 50 years and beyond. For details go here."
